June 18-21 | Canmore, Alberta, Canada

The Complete Guest Guide to our wedding at the Alpine Club, Canmore

What to Expect

An intimate summer wedding weekend in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

We’ll host a Welcome Lunch on Friday, June 19, followed by a bus tour to some of the top touristic destinations in the region, including Lake Louise.

The ceremony and reception are scheduled for the evening of Saturday, June 20th.

❋ Venue buy out

We’ve booked the entire Alpine Club from Thursday evening through Sunday morning. This is a rustic wilderness hostel, and you can bring anything you would normally bring to a hotel (including food and drink!).

❋ Great food

We’ll be providing catered meals for Friday lunch and Saturday dinner, and will provide a light continental breakfast at the hostel each morning. There are restaurants and grocery stores in town for anything in-between.

❋ Incredible views

The Alpine Club is nestled in a forested area just outside of Canmore, with views of the famous Three Sister mountains. If you like to walk, bring your hiking shoes: there are trails leading directly from the hostel’s backyard.

❋ Quality time

Expect a cozy long weekend with real time together. The ACC has plenty of indoor and outdoor nooks and crannies to gather, including a campfire area and a games room. Our time together will be private and relatively unstructured.

The Dress Code

Our dress code is simple: come as you are, but in cocktail attire (or finer).

All colours are wonderful, from black to neon rainbow to white. Creativity encouraged, but classic is wonderful too! Just be yourself.

If there is something you adore in the back of your closet that has been waiting for the right occasion, we would love for you to wear it.

Note that the only events with a dress code are the main ceremony and reception on Saturday evening.

The Alpine Club Canmore

The ACC is a simple mountain hostel. We recommend that you bring everything you need to be comfortable in a shared space, including all toiletries. Towels will be provided.

See below guide for detailed information on the hostel and venue, including things to do around the Canmore and Banff area.
