We’re happy to announce that we have rented a bus for a group excursion to some must-see destinations in Banff. This outdoor tour will be fully accessible and low-intensity, with options for all skill levels!
Lake Louise is a stunningly beautiful natural attraction, drawing visitors to Banff from all over the world. A trip to Canmore would not be complete without witnessing its iconic turquoise waters surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
Johnston Canyon is a short and popular stop along the way. A 40-minute drive from Canmore, we will get off the bus to stretch our legs and walk along the paved 1.2 km (0.75 mi) trail to the waterfalls. The trailhead features a cafe and bistro for those interested in light food and refreshments. You can read full details describing the trail here.
Note that this is planned for the evening so we can visit Lake Louise “after hours”, when it is less busy. Dinner will not be provided, so we recommend bringing snacks on the bus and planning for a late (after 8PM) dinner when we arrive back in Canmore.

1:45 PM: Meet at the Alpine Club Hostel, receive bingo sheets.
2:00 PM: Board the bus to Johnston Canyon.
2:45 PM: Arrive Johnston Canyon.
5:00 PM: Depart Johnston Canyon.
5:30 PM: Arrive Lake Louise.
6:30 PM: Depart Lake Louise.
7:00 PM: Rest stop at Lake Minnewanka. (time permitting)
8:00 PM: Return to Alpine Club Canmore.

Nos complace anunciar que hemos alquilado un autobús para una excursión grupal a algunos de los destinos imprescindibles de Banff. Este recorrido al aire libre será completamente accesible y de baja intensidad, ¡con opciones para todos los niveles!
Lake Louise es una atracción natural de impresionante belleza que atrae visitantes a Banff desde todo el mundo. Un viaje a Canmore no estaría completo sin contemplar sus icónicas aguas turquesa rodeadas de montañas cubiertas de nieve.
Johnston Canyon será una parada corta y popular en el camino. A unos 40 minutos en coche desde Canmore, nos bajaremos del autobús para estirar las piernas y caminar por el sendero pavimentado de 1,2 km hasta las cascadas. El inicio del sendero cuenta con una cafetería y un bistró para quienes deseen comprar algo ligero o bebidas. Puedes leer todos los detalles del sendero aquí.
Ten en cuenta que la excursión está programada para la tarde-noche para poder visitar Lake Louise “fuera de horario”, cuando hay menos gente. No se proporcionará cena, así que recomendamos traer snacks para el autobús y planear una cena tardía (después de las 8 p. m.) cuando regresemos a Canmore.
